In terms of healthy lives, Australia belongs to one of the top ranks in the world, hence he expects similar treatment to be available for him in another country as well. As far as his perception regarding the American healthcare and nursing system is concerned, it could be obtained from his responses that he is significantly satisfied with the funding programs in medical treatments offered by the country, although here the control are mostly in the hands of private organizations. According to him, America provides with significant and all necessary facilities for healthcare and the quality of treatments is also high. However one factors which concerns him is the cost of treatment in America, which is significantly high per person and hence is perceived as difficult to afford, by him in general. The interviewee also mentioned that nurses need to be more cooperative and understanding towards the patients belonging to other cultures. According to him, nurses are responsible for a large part of the treatment procedures and that patients need to be associated well with the nurses for enhanced treatment and wellbeing of the patients. Hence if nurses are ignorant of the patients only because they belong to a different culture, it would prove to have negative impact on the patients.
